Youth Ministry

Youth Ministry at Church of the Good Shepherd is rooted in robust Christian formation, meaningful community, and deep connection to the life of the parish. We seek to create a dependable, welcoming space where middle and high school students can grow in faith, ask honest questions, and learn what it means to follow Jesus in their everyday lives.
Our youth ministry is organized around two primary age-based groups:

Middle School (Grades 6–8)

High School (Grades 9–12)
These groups meet regularly for formation, prayer, Scripture, and conversation while fostering strong peer relationships. Throughout the year, students also participate in intergenerational events and parish-wide gatherings that strengthen connections across generations.
Teenagers need both a place to belong and a place to be formed. Our prayer is that youth ministry at Good Shepherd provides a clear and faithful pathway for students to deepen relationships, grow in wisdom, and discover a shared purpose in the life of the Church.

Middle School - Room 301 (Taught by Ed Enoch and Jessica Perry)
High School - Youth Lounge on the 3rd Floor (Taught by David Selby, Taylor McGowan, and Scott Bradford)
SUNDAY EVENING YOUTH GROUP | 6:00pm - 7:30pm
6:00 - 6:30pm - Dinner for the whole Youth Group (Grades 6-12)
6:30 - 7:30pm - Breakout teaching, discussion, and prayer
Safeguarding God's Children
The safety and security of our children and youth is our highest priority. All volunteers must pass a background check, and take an online course detailing safety procedures and appropriate behavior when serving with young people. To complete this course, please email the Parish Administrator for links and information.
