Ministries
Adult
The gifts he gave were...to equip the saints for the work of ministry, for building up the body of Christ, until all of us come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God, to maturity, to the measure of the full stature of Christ. - Ephesians 4:11-13
FOLLOWING JESUS IS A LIFELONG JOURNEY of being formed into his likeness. None of us is handed this maturity all at once; we grow into it through Scripture, prayer, worship, and the steady work of the Holy Spirit in community. At Good Shepherd, we understand Christian formation as part of Christ’s ongoing work of ushering in his Kingdom—shaping us, equipping us, and sending us into the world as his people.
Our adult formation offerings are rooted in this vision. They are spaces where we learn, ask questions, and deepen our faith together as we seek to participate in God’s Kingdom here and now. Whether individually, within our families, or as a parish, our aim is to grow as disciples who bear witness to God’s liberating, life-giving love.
