Healthy Habits for Body, Mind & Spirit: A summer guide for church families

 

Summer is a gift: a season filled with sunshine, adventure, rest and connections. As families enjoy vacations, camps, pool days and time together, it is also a wonderful opportunity to focus on healthy habits that nurture the whole person: body, mind, and spirit.

At Church of the Good Shepherd, we encourage our families to slow down, enjoy God’s creation,and care for themselves and one another throughout the summer months.

We've outlined some important tips below! We hope you will take part in this Summer Wellness Challenge and incorporate these healthy habits into your daily life. Small healthy choices each day can lead to healthier bodies, stronger minds, deeper faith, and greater joy throughout the summer season.
